yeah, won't lie and say i've never been envious. casual relationships are fine, but something serious would be nice too, i think.

i guess it's about... giving people a chance, not just dismissing everyone after a night. which i'm not saying you do. i did that, though, before. but i wasn't looking for love, i had enough with the kids.

sounds like a pretty legitimate reason to me. not that you have to legitimize your lack of serious relationship history, of course. giving people a chance sounds pretty doable to me though!

it really does. it's such a unique place. i'm not even sure how to put it into words.

sometimes words are inadequate. that's okay. as long as you feel like you're in the right place, that's what matters.

i can definitely say this feels like the right place for me- for us to be. even if it didn't benefit me a lot, it still helps him.

what if we can't? just as a hypothetical. if you were in my shoes, what would you do?

i...don't know. while my life is intrinsically linked with my brother's, it's not the same, and I could not presume or assume what it's like to deal with what you guys deal with.

yeah, it's hard to even explain what it's like. i don't think the usual rules of logic or morals or anything apply. we have to figure it out on our own. blank slate, kinda.

in a way, that's very lucky. you can start over and find a way you can both be happy
