types of knitting needles! what kind of yarn are you using?

i didn't forget about the other thing, just so you know.

knitting needles. right. i like the ones that have the sharpest ends. it's just...yarn. isn't that all?

because they work better for you while you're knitting?

there are so many types of yarn. if i told you about them all, we'd be here for hours. does the yarn you're using have a lot of give or is it pretty stiff?

i just feel more comfortable with them

it's...just yarn. you might have to see it for yourself

well, if they feel more comfortable in your hands, then i would say they're the right ones to be using! definitely at the beginning.

would it be ok if i did see? i mean, i'd love to see what you're working on, but only if it's all right with you, of course.

you're always good company. as long as the other mr. dash doesn't mind me stealing away your time.

i'll run it by him. until him, i'm in the non-ten part of the attic.

so if i stopped by in, say, the next ten minutes or so...?

you might catch me before i give up and throw yarn and all out the window

oh no! in that case, i'm going to be there sooner! don't throw anything out, okay?

[ He's puttering around now, throwing some things in a bag and making ready to head your way, Jiho! ]

Door's unlocked.

[jiho's always made it a habit of keeping his senses sharp, so he hears dash by the time he's at the top of the stairs.

he's currently doing...something with his yarn. making knots with his needles, mostly.]

[hapertas]

[ Dash nudges the door open slowly, poking his head in first. It looks like he's got a bag slung of his back. ]

Hey there, [ he says, waving a little once he's inside. ] I brought some things I had lying around... [ Shaking the bag a bit to emphasize as much, he peers over at Jiho's work. ]

What are you making?

[hoodwinker]

Blanket.

[it's mumbled, brows knitting more than jiho is as he concentrates. he takes a heavy breath before looking up at dash.]

Hey. Thanks for coming up here.

[hapertas]

[ Smiling and shaking his head, Dash moves over to where Jiho is, shrugging off the backpack and setting it at his feet. ]

Mm-mm, I'm happy to be here. Is it okay if I sit? [ He points to the spot nearest Jiho. ]

[hoodwinker]

Sure, if you don't mind a messy bed.

[he and rook nap a lot. there doesn't seem to be a point in making it up.]

You came prepared.

[hapertas]

Not at all! This is what our bed looks like pretty often. [ Rook and Jiho aren't the only ones who deeply enjoy naps.

Naps are sacred. ]

Well, it's a lot harder for me to use these things now, but I've been collecting them anyway. I thought you might get more use out of them.

[hoodwinker]

[jiho's expression softens at that.]

Is there any way I can help or something? It would probably be more like you helping me. Maybe between the two of us, we can actually make something recognizable.

[hapertas]

[ Dash looks down at Jiho's work, then the bag of things he's brought. He smiles a little and nods. ] I'd like that a lot.

It's more fun to make things together, isn't it?

[hoodwinker]

Is this fun for you?

[jiho might be a little surprised to hear that. it's definitely nice for him to have some of dash's company. that's reflected in his smile.]

This isn't a date, is it? [wait, he needs to say that a little louder. possibly go to his door.] Dash, this isn't a date, is it? Do you think the other Mr. Dash heard me?

[hapertas]

I think it's fun, [ Dash says, nodding in affirmation. ] I always liked making things and it's just as nice to see what other people make.

[ He laughs a little at the second remark. ]

I'm not sure. Should we try it a little louder? [ He raises his voice a bit. ] Neve, I'm going on a date with Jiho!
